On top of that, Gholdengo is the living golden trophy, the Pokemon that you need to work hard for in order to obtain, perfect fit for Kieran who worked hard to get his title. Gimmighoul is one of the weakest Pokemon there is and only through sheer effort of collecting 999 coins it becomes the strong and overpowered Gholdengo, doesn't it remind you of Kieran's story? It's a golden trophy, a reward fitting for a Champion, it's overpowered and it's so fucking sexy. Also would imply he traveled the entire Paldea region to get those coins, imagine the fanfiction possibilities.
