After losing pretty quickly to Misty (No grass types or anything really that good against her), I started a nuzlocke of Eternal X, a Pokemon X hack that makes trainers harder, gym leaders harder, rebalances Pokemon (by changing their types, stats, movesets), and makes all 721 Pokemon available in-game before the Elite Four. Pretty good, and just got past the first roadblock that is Viola. Early Simisear made the Gym nearly a breeze, though there were a couple moments I felt I was going to lose the Pokemon. One thing that I felt was interesting - Poke Balls are much cheaper and Potions are quite a bit more expensive.
