FINAL UPDATE
Alright. My hands are renewed with strength, and it's time to fight the final boss. I made my way through Mt. Silver all the way to the summit, where the most powerful trainer in the game, Red, awaited me. It's time for the ultimate battle.
He led with Pikachu, and I led with Garvey. Despite his pikachu using Charm, it still went down to one earthquake.
His next pokemon was Venusaur. It wasted a turn with solarbeam charging, allowing Ishtar to switch in and flamethrower it for a one-hit kill.
Espeon came out next. Ishtar did what she did best and flamethrowered it for a two-hit kill, and tanked his Espeon's psychic, still in the green.
Red sent out his blastoise, probably hoping to finish Ishtar off, so Reflex took point, and took surf after surf like a champ, getting a 3-hit-KO with sludge bomb.
Snorlax got sent out next, and Reflex put up a barrier to wall his physical attacks, while Red predicted a special barrage, having his snorlax use amnesia. After three barriers, Reflex was untouchable, even though he was paralyzed by Snorlax's body slam. What followed was a barrage of retardation, with His snorlax spamming rest and snore to whittle away at Reflex's hit points and sludge bomb PP, but with her last use of sludge bomb, finally put the fat bastard down.
Because Reflex had a sliver of health remaining, I switched over to Ishtar, who thunderpunched that dragon-type-in-gen-6-after-mega-evolving-dragon back into hell. That was it. I won.
