While I am enjoying the new anime (Roy and Dot especially) I think I'd have just slightly preferred pic related over it. Liko is not fun. I wanted her to be very engaging, and she isn't-- I don't tune in each week wondering what she's going to do next, because she's very slow to act and doesn't have a long term goal.
Dot doesn't have a long term goal either but her character type is funny and she's got a unique set of characteristics, whereas Roy is pretty much the quintessential Pokemon protagonist, energetic, headstrong, and full of dreams. I was Likopilled leading up to the premiere, but she failed to deliver for me.
At least I can admit I was wrong, unlike Moot who has hitched his wagon to the Liko horse because she makes his penis feel funny
