Began liking Mawile way back in Gale of Darkness, when it took me a shit ton of ultra balls to catch for some reason. I don't know what happened then, but I grew fond of Mawile. I didn't even use it ingame.
Then in Pokemon Ruby, I caught another one. Again, I didn't even use her ingame. Eventually, I began to realize that I owned a Mawile in every single Pokemon game. She began to grow on me as that one Pokemon I always bring along. A signature Pokemon, if you will.
Now, she has a mega and she kicks ass. I fucking love it.
