>>48684340Well, good and bad news, I went to go export my data from DesMume to check my IVs in PKHex, but I accidentally imported my beginning of playthrough save data when I initially used PKHex to unlock Challenge Mode. So about an hour or so lost. The good news is that on my runback I did successfully get past the Cheren lottery again and this time actually got all 3 eligible encounters from Route 19, 20, and Floccessy Ranch.
I should also clarify I guess, my starter is Tepig just because I like it the best, you only fight Hugh like twice in this game so I doubt it really matters.
Roxie was sadly kind of another RNG fest - even an Adamant Silk Scarf fully happy Patrat launching Returns is still, well, just a Patrat, and her team's tough to take down and swap around. Though I got through the Koffing and Grimer, in order for literally anything on my team to survive I had to land Hypnosis on Whirlipede and have it stay asleep for at least 2 turns. That is what happened, I was prepared to sack Patrat since I will potentially get a much better mon in Raticate later on anyway, but hey, survived and got the kill. So that's nice.
