>>56227867Even though the final game is too heavily flawed to call truly good I think PLA is the single best thing to happen to this series in the last decade, or at least since the end of gen 5. The formula has become too stale and dry to keep being done with only slight subversion each time, the idea of GF making their own sub series to compete with the mainline sounds crazy on paper and I can't believe they not only went forward with it but seem to want to keep doing it. It'll sell because its pokemon but the fact they actually tried to make something actually new gives me hope for the series going forward.
