Magma tag battle went pretty funny, I think the AI in that battle is meant to be bloodthirsty against your rival. I had Pelipper out on Weezing and it just tried spamming Will o Wisp into Swampert instead of using the Thunderbolt it had on me, I did have Protect just in case of course.
That faggot Ace Trainer near the ash route managed to take two lives this time, thanks to his Reuniclus Psyshocking into Lilligant swapping to USA when it had Signal Beam (and yes, I know AI randomly uses moves at low HP, but another Psyshock wouldn't have taken Lilligant out), and then in my anger I forgot Gabite had a Rocky Helmet. Hate that fucker.
Tabitha went a bit less smoothly since I wanted to try and not play around a crit from his Darmanitan, but then I played into a crit on his Steelix.
Maxie went fine, and Flannery/Lucy went pretty much the exact same as last run, Simple Shell Smash on Estonia is broken.

It's actually probably decent strategy to not use the starters earlier on, as remakes/third versions tend to be tougher with the exception of ORAS.
>>48236980Assuming you've not already done it, I'd grind a bit more. But this is for sure a great team.
>>48237753>worth nuzlockingIt's a fun experience to be sure, but it suffers from issues like grinding being fairly terrible and the level scaling past Flannery being janky. If you nuz it, use the patch here
