ORAS was decent, but it still wasn't a great remake imo, the forced lati- was dumb, and mauville wasn't a good change imo. They did remake Ruby and Saphire, but everyone wanted Emerald content...
So hopefully with a different studio working on the game, we may see something better, or not, but people are getting way to bent out of shape over the chibi style imo.
