The DLC seems to be broken up into 2 parts again. One for battling, one for story. Free update has special outbreaks for pokemon not in dex.
Part 1: Champion's Paradise
>Basicly battle frontier
>Built on the North-East side of the map. The free update starts the construction, and by the time the DLC launches, it will be finished.
>Battle tower is basically the same. The tower master is Ortega's father.
>Tempest Fleet has you battle on different ships with different weather or battle effects. The leader is a pirate woman (battle arcade but less random)
>Dusk Dungeon has you catch and battle wild pokemon, then you battle trainers. Battle factory/battle pyramid
>Royal Fort has unique gameplay, as it's like tower defense, but with pokemon battles.
>Crusade Coliseum is basically speed battling. More time is more points to use on yourself or opponents.
>All leaders are former champions that traveled to different regions at some point
Part 2: Story+Legendary Tera Raids
>Explore a new area called Area X. has fossil pokemon and other pokemon not found in dex.
>You catch new paradox mon (depending on the version, Lost legend or Lost justice) and a chameleon turtle thing that has the ability that lets it terra into any type
>Once finished, you can legendary terra pokemon
Part 1 is spring, part 2 is fall, but the timing may change due to GF working on patches.
