>Dragalge>Toxicroak>Roserade>Gengar>Toxtricity>MukBio:
One of the most respected Poison-Type trainers in the world, Dorado is credited with popularizing "Stat-Boosters": X Items and Vitamins, among Zirca's trainers.
This is no accident of course. with his stake in Kanto's Silph Company, he is at least in part enriched by the sales boost.
Less business-savvy and more unethical is Dorado's rumored ties with Team Rocket. Agents of the International Police have procured what they believe to be video evidence of the Elite Four member's presence at the Goldenrod Radio tower, back during the attempted takeover by Team Rocket. Mr. Guerrero of course vehemently denies such accusations.
Trainer Tips:
>Dorado will nearly always begin his battles with the use of X items or of moves such as Swords Dance, Nasty Plot and Agility. Whenever he gets a chance, he will try to give his Pokémon an edge. A user of Haze should be able to beat the boosts and level the playing field.>Ground and Psychic Types help spectacularly against Dorado's poisonous Pokémon, and Steel Types can provide a key immunity to their strongest attacks.>Dorado's Toxicroak carries Baton Pass, denying it the chance to transfer Swords Dance or Nasty Plot boosts is crucial to avoid a sweep.>A solid choice is Quagsire. A strong Ground Type with access to Haze and Earthquake can be a key asset against this battling guru.>Should you obtain a Beldum during your travels, a powerful Metagross can put the hurt on Dorado's boosted bruisers.
