With the franchise claimed from the bottom to the top by epic and intimidating beasts AND cutesy huggable blobs, those few that have the capacity for sympathetic - yet non-baby-helpless- appearance really stand out by the mile.
-A fine design and interesting overall concept are the bonuses that came a long way towards actually pushing this one right to the top in my book.
A bit of shame that he is sooo hit or miss among the general poke fandom in virtually every aspect of his placement, design and 'viability'- even the most basic middle ground would have helped.
