>>48249476Hmmm, I see... I did like the concept of PokeJobs in Galar. Heck, even back in Gen 1 you had that one Machop stomping the ground flat. A Pokemon's, well, Pokemon-ity is something that's always neat to explore in my book, though part of that could always be inspired by the writing from the Mystery Dungeon games too...
>>48249762Bastet, the chosen heroine of divine providence! She's Bold natured, and while she has a very confident look about her, she's more than willing to provide a helping hand or assistance to a fellow Pokemon. After all, that's exactly what a heroine would do, yes?
That said Ming-Ming and Bastet weren't always the best of friends. In their youth, Ming-Ming was actually not a big fan of Pokemon at all, being very hard headed and into her martial arts. And with Bastet herself, her chosen-y nature got started from her original trainer referring to herself as a 'child among the stars themselves'... They say Pokemon often end up resembling their trainers, so who knows where Bastet got her smug expression from?
>>48249957It's funny because a friend of mine had the headcanon that tracking chips were a boon - They'd help with the assistance of finding a lost Pokemon out there in the world, rather than having them purely lost in the wilderness. It's also understandable there would be some trainers who'd use trackers as a means to keep track of their tools.
I can imagine Shadow's development took quite some real world time! Being discovered, feeling himself with this ragtag gang of humans and Pokemon. Even self-actualizing and living his own life! ... Did anyone tease him about Shadow being a pretty on the nose name for a Dark-type though?
