I think that the game would bare most similarities to the originals, but the region may be expanded to compensate for the sheer amount of gijinkas there are. Also, instead of catching them, you would have to attempt to befriend them instead, which would be obviously much more difficult. Another thing; each gijinka could be randomly generated to have different appearances (maybe dependent on the nature).
