>>47443568If I had to guess, probably RBY or HGSS, both of which I think can largely be attributed to nostalgia. I think a lot of older fans would say Gen I is the best because Red or Blue was their first game, and a lot of younger fans would say that HGSS is the best for the same reason, and because I remember it was pretty big upon release because of the Pokéwalker and all that.

The difference is I think OoT is actually good while HGSS is a bit overrated, but the fact remains that HGSS has a pretty strong following.
