Something more interesting though, I need to read up on how to make a crystal radio again. That would be insanely practical in the PMD world, if just for a quick sending of rescue request mails and the like over that.
I'm somewhat certain I could make a crude pump system too which would help with indoor plumbing and the like, wouldn't some hot water be nice at the guild after a long day's work?
If guild stuff didn't work out like I posited earlier in considering my character's stories, I think it would be fun to use my knowhow of some human inventions to be some sort of inventor or something in the PMD world. I may not be an engineer irl, but clearly pokemon don't know diddly-squat about even basic technology, I don't even see any basic agriculture!
