Majority of people around the world don't like Black People or people of darker skin tones. It's more of a known fact then anything else.
If someone wants to make money around the world, the last thing they're going to do is add a race of people with such negative, evil, and soulless people into it.
Also, the Japanese are extremely racist and xenophobic, that goes for people who are and aren't black but they hate and are scared of black people more then white people. The media doesn't help ether in their case as well, they get droplets of what happen in the States and Europe and all of it is truth but it's negative nonetheless.
The tanned races of this new game are just that, they're tanned whites. If you were to have a show of votes or what people play and choose as their character avatar for this new game I guarantee it's going to be a blonde, blue eyed, white female trainer next to white male blonde, blue eyed trainer and the least played is going to be the two darkest skin tones.
This is a honest truth people need to get through their thick skulls.
