Getting to Whitney and fighting Whitney were both bloodier than expected. I lost Shedinja to confuse ray from a trainer after Ilex Forest. In Goldenrod I got Anorith from the former bike shop, who I lost along with Beautifly to the bird keeper with the Noctowl on route 35. I caught Illumise and Volbeat there, and in the park got very lucky finding Scyther
not technician and Heracross. Ethan surprised me but Butterfree with sleep powder continued to carry. Against Whitney I lost Parasect very foolishly to Wigglytuff, and Weedle as a sacrifice to switch in Heracross against Milktank, which in hindsight was pointless. An ugly performance on my part.
Looking ahead, I'll get to add Ledian to my team on route 37, being the only bug there in the morning, and then quite a few areas without any bugs until CIanwood. I'll probably allow myself a few more captures from the national park or route 35 to compensate.
