Emboar is a fucking great way of designing a fat, fighting cartoon pig. the decorations instantly bring to mind the chinese influences AND the fire theme, and his silhouette makes for a very unique and memorable look. the design is detailed but at the same time easily readable
if you want to see a horrible way of drawing a cartoon pig, look on further than this thing. there's no interesting use of shapes, no design and invention, just an anthropomorphic anime pig and that's it. there's no real theme to him beyond the whole 'pearls' thing. the only memorable thing about this design is how unforgivably bland it is.
but hey, it's less detailed and more "genwun"-like, so it has to be better... right????
