Event Overview
This is an event where you meet strange passengers, listen to their Pokemon boasting and stories of their hometowns, and spend time battling them.
There is a limit to the number of people you can talk to before arriving at your destination, so the player decides who to talk to and acts accordingly.
If they boast about their Pokemon,
you can increase the number of Pokemon you have seen in your Pokemon encyclopedia, which will help you complete your Pokemon encyclopedia.
If they talk about their hometown,
you will hear about Pokemon they have met in places they have been in before (islands and other regions) and introductions to landmarks.
The purpose is to get them interested in regions they have not played yet or to get them to reminisce about regions they have already played.
If they are from Alola, they will tell you small details about islands they have not seen yet or islands they have already visited, which will increase their motivation for adventure.
