Rainbow Rocket was the worst kind of fanfic-tier trash, but I'll admit paralel-universe shit getting so out of hand so fast was good on the long term since they couldn't reasonably keep building on it any longer.

But USUM's merits or demerits are besides the point. Selling updates at full price is garbage. And selling side-content DLC as a fix for an utterly shitty game is also garbage.
Third versions should be completely unnecessary (in a climate where updates at zero logistic cost are possible at that), and DLC expansions should only follow games that are actually sufficient and good on their own.
