You have pokeballs, those are the regular ones. All specialized balls have the same catchrate as the basic starting, regular pokeballs if they're not meeting their criteria.
They're equal to regular pokeballs in battle, I literally don't know how to put this simpler. There's no tiers. Either it hits the criteria or it's just a regular pokeball. There's no 1 = 1, 2 = 2, 3 = 3. Every. Single. Special. Pokeball. Regardless of what "Rank" it is. From Gen 2 when specialized pokeballs were first introduced. Either has increased catch rate if you are doing what the ball tells you to, or it does absolutely fucking nothing.
