3. As taught by her mother, Anya is extremely intelligent and well-versed in mathematics, engineering and, to a lesser extent, programming. Disciplines that are built around logical and concrete principles are much easier for her to understand, and given the right tools she's able to tinker with machinery, especially cars. She also possesses some level of musical talent, able to fluently play both the omnichord she carries and the piano, though she's a bit better with the former.
4. Sparky is the last and most recent addition to her party. She stole it from a scientist who was berating and mistreating it by taking the ball mid-battle and running away with it. This is the same battle where Giant evolved from a Golett into a Golurk.
Now that she has a full party, Anya isn't interested in catching any more Pokémon, because she wouldn't be able to give all of them equal attention. Her priority now is building structure within the team, with... Mixed results. More specifically she wants to help Sparky get over his timidty and anxiety, which often causes him to freeze up or panic during battles.
