I don't know a ton about competitive pokemon, but I know banning something like this so early is an obscene case of the gitguds for a """competitive council""" to be partaking in. I get a lot of the other early bans had overwhelming mathematical data to explain how other Pokemon just couldn't keep up with them, but Tera is so freeform and flexible that there is objectively no number to crunch that can give you even a somewhat decent picture of how matches with Tera will play out.
