Got a tip from a to be unnamed insider that sometime soon (within the fiscal year) nintendo will be slashing the price of their refurbished 3DS systems by 50%, lasting until stock is gone.
This would make 2DSes $25, new 2DS XLs $50 and new 3DS XLs $60
this falls in line with pretty much all of their other consoles plummeting in price on their website when their line gets discontinued.
The Wii U for example dropped to $99 for the deluxe set right before the switch released.
Just thought that was a neat tidbit, and I'll be buying a handful of extras to sit on and flip in a few years
