Super casualized (Pokémon was always easy but not like XY and not like how SM seems), not that much new content relative to older Gens, more emphasis on story than gameplay, ignores the older fanbase entirely except for trying to get back the Genwunners who haven't touched a game in 20 years.

The inevitable Sinnoh remakes are going to be a fucking disgrace compared to Platinum.

There's nothing impressive about a Pokémon doing well in Contests. Just pump them full of Pokéblocks and give them a few moves of the same attribute, as long as you aren't using a Ditto or an Unown winning a Contest isn't a feat to praise a Pokémon for. Every Pokémon is equally good at Contests as any other (again with exceptions like Ditto and Unown).

Hello, I'm prophet anon. I predicted goodra leaving, ash getting hawlucha, flabebe being in bonnie's hair, etc. I also predicted Serena's contest eevee.

There are two possibilities:

1. Pancham evolves in the presence of Ash's Greninja.
2. Pancham doesn't evolve, because he's a contestmon and doesn't need to.

Serena is getting a Sylveon.

I don't remember if my first game was Ruby or FR, neither the full party but I do remember some of my pokémons. In Ruby I had a Blaziken, Mightyena, Pelipper and Flygon, I think. Can't remember the rest.

In FR, Charizard, Hitmonlee, Electabuzz, Pidgeot. I have memories of running Haunter, Kadabra, Machoke, Dewgong and Rhydon, but I don't know if I used one of them in my first time.

Nowadays I don't have the same taste. I still like Charizard, Pidgeot and Hitmonlee, but everything else just don't feel the same for me. I actually ended up really liking some pokémons that I never thought of using, until I actually used them. Gyarados, Infernape, Breloom, for example.

To be honest, that's why I'm afraid of Youkai Watch.

Youkai Watch, from what I've heard of it (never personally played it since I don't speak moon), is juvenile and easy as hell. If they get serious traction, GF will have to compete with them.

Which means they'll make the games even more casual.

The monopoly is definitely bad, but I think the lone competitor being a game leaning in the opposite direction of what the series needs would be even worse as the problems with Pokémon would just worsen to compete.

I was trying to use a team of six since I find the game more enjoyable that way, and even though I was able to immediately go to the Pokémon Center and put my team back, I felt it was too intrusive to force the player to put Lati@s on their team to the extent of making them remove a Pokémon.

Say what you want about the game gifting you Lati@s that early in the first place, I'm not a fan of it but don't have that big a problem with it, but that little detail just keeps bugging me.

Anyone else feel that way? Minor gripes thread.
