Back from a bit of EV training, but it seems it wasn't quite enough. The fight against Maylene started ok, Milly The Willy-Nilly taking out her Meditite easily enough, but it seems that the Machokes in the gym were just barely KOs, as Maylene's lived on a sliver to deliver a Leer. It was easily dealt with afterwards, but this meant that we couldn't stay in to Pluch Lucario's Sitrus Berry as it could likely kill at this range. Switching in to Tweece and we get the dreaded message after a Metal Claw
"Lucario's Attack rose!"
Pretty much the nail in the coffin for at least one team member, if not more, trying to pivot around a little but Lucario keeps landing heavy blows. Bulldagger Diesel Dyke pulled the short straw, a Mach Punch did a little but not nearly enough, and he was ended by a Force Palm. Thankfully Pimbus Mumbleton was able to come out and outspeed the Lucario, landing a Dig that just barely did enough to kill.
...so yeah that really blows, there goes my Fire type for the run basically, but oh well, we will rebuild
