It's kinda poetic if you think about it. Ash is a representation of the demographics that follow his show, the underachievers, the perpetual manchildren who can't get out of NEEThood by any means, the shut-in perma virgins who'll never achieve to anything or pass down their seed in their life. Ash is us, and therefore he'll always be a failure.
