Based on further study of the latter link, I have assessed that my neck of the woods and the surrounding area would be designated under the following nomenclatures in no particular order.
Forest
Marsh
Freshwater
Grasslands
And finally, Urban.
The prominence of Pokemon of each habitat will vary from place to place due to human construction and development, but from my observations there is enough land of each habitat that qualifies that you could probably find something in these sub-sections if you were proactive in hunting down a Pokemon of particular type and inclination.
I'll start by listing what species I usually see on a day to day basic, assuming of course I can correctly identify them. This will be in no particular order, listing off what I visually am able to confirm.
At the top of my head, the ever invasive red Fire Ant. (And soon to be their conquers, the Argentina variety, though I have personally have yet to see them yet.)
Red Cardinals can sometimes be spotted in the trees.
Feral cats that frequent my family's doorstep due to my family wishing to feed them. (Though they are quite skittish creatures, very docile and will bolt if they feel threatened.)
I have spotted exactly one Possum that also sometimes takes the opportunity to feed on what we give to the cats if given the opportunity.
Raccoons are also a given. Rabbits (Exact sub-species/type unknown. Will need to Google for further confirmation.) also have been spotted.
Deers have already been mentioned previously.
Ducks of the Mallard variety have been spotted around lakes. Speaking of, I have also spotted small turtles, geese, and the fish of what species I know not also inhabit them.
Foxes have been seen on occasion in the backyard.
Ladybugs, Tatrantula Hawks, Red Wasp (Mean little basterds.), Blue Mud Wasps, a myriad of spiders of the silk spinning and pouncing variety, common flies, earwigs have also been seen.
