>>45911192The story of BW 2 is a direct sequel of 1, so ideally it's better to play BW first to figure it out better. But the BW2 story while not as good, is still more than decent and can be enjoyed even without playing the first games (also you have great OG characters like pic related to deal with)
As a strictly gameplay comparison B/W 2 have a massivelly better endgame content tho
