All other types in game have a design philosophy. The elemental ones mix in there respective types and even ones less clear have a theme there (Fairy is magical, mystical and whimsical looking)
Sound would be so restrictive in its design. You'd have to make dozens of music related Pokemon for it and it would be ridiculous. Alien-type is better btw
