Just finished playing Rejuvenation v12 and holy shit this has been a blast. From timetravel to now an ancient spaceship pyramid.
At the end of v11, right after you beat the Rock Gym, the second evil team (Team Bladestar) blows up a building in an attempt to eliminate the head of Grand Dream City, which is the biggest city in Rejuvenation. This kills a bunch of people and leave some of your friends in critical condition but your rival that is part of the first evil team (Team Xem) comes to help. Team Xem puts your friends in life support capsules but they are only delaying the inevitable.
So (You) and whoever is close and alive ally with Team Xem and have a 38 hours time limit to get to that pyramid where the magical springs can heal them. The timelimit doesn't impact in gameplay so you are allowed to use fly any time to travel the region and pick what you need. This time around you are also forced to play as your rival and other friends to progress but their team is 6IV and EV trained anyway so it isn't much of an issue.
Most of the battles are manageable and the Rift battle this time around is a double with Ren's help, with for once your pair being good for something by helping and debuffing Rift Hippowdown with Intimidates, Will-o-Wisp etc.
So you eventually get to travel the desert which includes destroyed versions of buildings you visited in the past including a hospital that has (You) listed as one of the patients, your player sometimes starts having flashbacks indicating all character designs you can choose actually were alive and a family at some point in the distant past etc., you discover the Evil Doctor from Grand Dream City is evil and finally you reach the pyramid.
Puzzles and here and there and all, finally in the top of the pyramid the Ground Gym leader was being remote controlled by the leader of Team Bladestar with an evil plant, reason being that she needed him as a descendant of the king was the only person that could operate the pyramid's systems.
