No, that's bullshit, it was actually surprisingly easy. I expected it to be tricky, but I ran into some very nice sellers who could do it.
Anyway, when I presented the ornament to her, she was surprised. Obviously.
Yeah, I hadn't let her know about it. It *was* meant to be a surprise.
She was terribly confused too. I like to think she already knows very well how much I appreciate her, but... I guess she never saw this kind of thing coming.
But she's wearing it now.
It makes her stand out a bit, like I hoped. She'll be easier to identify from afar or in a crowd.
And she seems pretty happy with it. Often fondles it, although that doesn't surprise me overly much.
I have a necklace too (not coal, though) and touching it every once in a while is... kind of soothing, I guess. Something like that.
