My original idea to my Johto's Bulbasaur Form was that, a long time ago, a territorial conflict between the Kanto Bulbasaur's line and the Johto Bulbasaur's line eventually forced Johto’s one to retreat to the area around Route 45 (Johto) and the caves. I chose the steel type because, besides them living in caves, it was one of the new types introduced in Gen2 and because the shape of Venusaur’s head reminded me of the shape Steelix's giant jaw. About the flower, I chose a simpler one to balance its design with the design of the body, with is richer, in contrast to the simpler body shape and stronger flower of the original line. I decided to make it white because this form was no longer a poison type and to make it smaller because of their life style, that is, spending half time inside caves where there is no sun light;
