But since you didn't want to give up the investments you made once you were suddenly a "loser" for liking Pokemon when you originally weren't, you stuck with the franchise until long after being a loser or not mattered, and you simply kept consuming media because that's all you knew how to do.

me that helped make this franchise into the gargantuan, uncaring, eternally profitable cash cow it is today, and even if you've given up on it anytime between Gen 2 and now, the damage has already been done.
