Just beat Clay. Decided to have my boi Reynard be a Glaceon this leg instead of Jolteon, mostly for help with dragon types. Sage became a Gallade for the first time as well, as it fit his nature better this run. I get a Metal Coat in Chargestone Cave and will tutor him Iron Head, so that'll be nice.
I've yet to have any deaths throughout this entire leg of my run, and am unsure how to comprehend it. I feel like Set + Challenge Mode VW2 should be harder than it has been?
Then again, I've been checking the trainer documentation for gym leaders. Preparing a strat beforehand for the gym fights might be contributing to my success so far. I should stop doing that, since I didn't do it at all for legs 1-3.
I've got some catches to do and some Plasma bitches to beat up first though. Hopefully all goes well.
