Today we will be discussing out Kalos early birds: Fletchling Flechinder and Talonflame.
Fletchling is super cute and probably one of my favourite basic stage birds not much else to say about it.
Fletchinder has amazing design and turned the tables by becoming a fire/flying type thus becoming the first of the first route birds to a have a different typing (wingull doesn't count).
And last but certainly not least we have Talonflame the bravest bird of them all having sub par stats apart from speed and was though to become Nu garbage became one of the most annoying OU threats thanks to its amazing ability. Not much else to say it has a good design and I like it, maybe it has too many spots but that doesn't really bother me anymore and thankfully GF was sane enough not to give it additional coverage in ORAS with stuff like Superpower or Seed bomb.
All in all its great to see early route mons becoming useful in competitive and hopefully it will remain up there but at the same time we need more ways to counter it so its not on every single OU team.
