Every block and every transference would be validated by several nodes, thus ensuring that stuff like cloning or injecting event Pokémon becomes harder if not impossible.

For Pokémon it could be used to transfer and verify each user's Pokémon while giving them a unique Trainer ID. Those Pokémon could be transferred between games, between trainers (outside of the game) and even sent to spinoffs like Pokémon GO or future versions. With Pokémon TCG it would be even more useful.
Then again, NFTs bad because Reddit says they kill polar bears and I will lose my money if I touch a blockchain. Better put all my money in Silicon Valley Bank and spend 500 $ on lootboxes.
