>>49095124It is too late to try to balance this anime, we are practically in its final third and introducing characters would feel rushed and forced as it happened with Hau in SM.
Marnie along with Bede and Hop should have taken Bea's place as Ash's rivals and recurring characters, so we should have seen their growth as trainers throughout the series replacing filler trainers like the boy from the Gallade or the meganium trainer. I especially would have liked to see Bede compete against Chloe in all kinds of girly events.
