I remember some years ago, there was a fanmade game on a fan Pokemon site.
You chose a Kanto starter, and went through the Kanto leaders, battling them. But instead of attacks and such, it was Pokémon trivia questions. I remember the game ended early because the full version wasn't out.
But I recall it being amazingly fun. As far as I can remember it was on some site with chibi Pikachu doll things in the background.
