I've been running it in UU with Stone Edge, Earthquake, and ThunderPunch. Fire Punch, Steamroller, Brick Break, and Iron Head/Gyro Ball are other offensive options, but the threat of Water-type switch-ins demands coverage. I usually hold off on using Sucker Punch right away, unless I have to. Golem's low speed ensures that if hit with the right move, the WP will activate, allowing him to hit back devastatingly hard. When they switch in to something for the revenge kill, that's when I can throw a Sucker Punch in. It catches them totally off-guard. Slowbro is a common threat, but neither Sucker Punch nor ThunderPunch can OHKO it, even after the boost. So unless it's already weakened (but who runs them without Regenerator?) it'll be a spot of trouble. All in all, though, it's worked just great.
I considered running him with Rock Polish, and it works in theory, but in a metagame plagued with priority it won't make much of a difference. I need the extra offensive option, anyway.
