>>55531604The DLC has a few more qol stuff, you can even see a pokemon's gender, emblem and size just by locking on them (unlocked on the second part of the DLC), the new areas are way cooler than the ones in the base game (oni mountain specially), the story isn't as good but it's still pretty good, Kieran is unironically the best writen character in this franchise and the plot has more "wow they really put this in a pokemon game" stuf like historical revisionism, theft and murder, also another legendary with actual personality and lore to befriend (the first DLC is basically like the plot of a pokemon movie) and the second part is the most mechanically challenging battles they have ever done (battle facilities aside), you legit see people using level 100 teams and struggling with the bosses of that part of the story, and the post-game bosses (old and new) are all level 80 mininum, your two main rivals being the hardest battles by far (all the characters from the second part of the DLC also use exclusively double teams so that adds even more strategy and fuckery if you think you can just keep your old story team and keep going as usual).
The only focus on sandwiches in the DLC is a single trial that involves making one and it's genuinely funny, specially if you do the trick to not spill the ingredients)I 120% recommend you to get it.
