Have you considered that it might be a bad idea to become overly reliant on technology? I know kids in high school who never learned their times tables because someone handed them a calculator early on and they just always used that instead of doing the math in their head. These are the people that become, say, sales clerks, and when the power goes out they can't help the customers because nobody taught them how to do sales tax.
Having 24/7 access to technology has negative consequences, the biggest being that you're helpless when you're suddenly without it.
