Just beat Whitney. Getting a Heracross from a headbutt tree back in Azalea certainly helped, I don't know if I would have come out unscratched otherwise.
Kenzaki slapped his way through the Gym without much issue, and that was before learning Brick Break (it learned it in the last trainer before Whitney). Then it OHKO'd Clefairy (whcih worried me more than Miltank because of its Metronome), and when Attract made it vulnerable I switched to Onix, who sat there taking Miltank's attacks and lowering her attack with Screech.
Then once she missed a Rollout I switched back to Heracross and he took Miltank out with one hit as well. While overcoming the Attract in the first turn no less.
