This regional variant of Seel are the descendants of an isolated group of Seel that were so enamored by the beauty of a mysterious maiden that used to take of them long ago. They were so influenced by her beauty that they started favoring more conventionally "beautiful"; more docile and kind mates.
But due to this, this regional variant of Seel and Dewgong rarely hunt for their own food in fear of getting themselves messy. They instead favor a plant based diet. This drive to beauty also seems to have triggered an evolution in Dewgong aswell. Pinnapedde are very allusive Pokemon, most information known about it are passed on through old stories.
