I will never forget being woken up at 3am by my parents on christmas eve so we could catch a flight to visit family, and being handed a little box with a gba/crystal bundle and a pack of batteries inside. My sister got one too with some disney game. Spent the whole day and most of the trip playing, and that typhlosion was my buddy until the save battery died. I did get a cart dumper to try to save him, but alas I was too late. This photo was taken the last time i booted up the cartridge to check on him to see if it was worth spending the money ordering the cart dumper, it took a month to arrive and when I plugged it in all that was there was the rom. One of these days I'd like to recreate him as accurately as possible with pkhex, I just haven't gotten around to it.
