Imagine being these 3. The Gen 1 birds are just too simple for today's world...They were the rare, powerful monsters of the time. But by now they're no longer mysterious and they've been powercrept into obscurity by all the gods and space monsters. I remember when the 3 birds threw the world out of balance in 2000, and now there's like a dozen Pokemon who could do that with less effort. There's even a whole new version of the birds out now. And it's not like Megas where old Pokemon got an upgrade, because these guys are variants.
