This is a dark day.
I had lost friends here before on my previous run, and this attempt was no kinder. Ch'p fell to a Ranger's Simipour after weathering a Shock Wave with a sliver of health and retaliating with a crit rain-boosted STAB-boosted Scald...of all the things to happen to me. And I was fucking kicking myself, because if I wasn't overconfident and went with Volt Switch, she'd still be alive.
And then the Celestial Tower claimed both Sherwood and Crush. And to

It has been a harrowing ordeal that I have passed through, and my team is battered and broken...but not defeated. With Joltik, at least, I still have a hard counter to Skyla. It's just the grind that may be difficult...and hopefully that won't hold any nasty surprises.
Rest well, you three...you deserved better. So much better.
