>>54964548I think its actually pretty likely we'll see at least SOME buff coming up here. SV gave egg movepools to Pokemon that previously didn't have any, due to the Mirror Herb method allowing those groups to transfer moves. They've generally been competent too, this is where Grimmsnarl received Parting Shot for example. I think it's not out of the question that they give it Shift Gear or Recover or something.
Side note, but the newest regulation banner also prominently features Metagross. These have, so far, featured Pokemon that are anywhere from competitively competent, or outright excel in either ranked singles or doubles. Metagross, unassisted with generational gimmicks, has been falling behind in those formats, so I think it's possible it might get something based off of that as well. Granted, this is a very minor point.
