Some people this season made it to master in 10 to 15 games.
Chrisheroes after 50 games was still in ultra.
If you watched his streams you would know he's a really good player, his macro is really good, he doesn't play meme builds, he's always going for the win, he knows every character inside out, he tries extremely hard every game, yet some dickhead playing slowbro or snorlax made it to masters in like 12 games way faster than he did, does that mean that they're better than him?
No
This shitty ass game averages the team's skill level, meaning that the better you are the shittier your teammates get. If the game detects that you're really good (high number of kills, high damage, good ability to last hit objectives), if the enemy team is made out of 5 average players, then you'll be given godawful teammates as to "balance" the two teams skill level out.
The only way to climb fast is to consistently perform better than the game expects you to. But there's no such thing as infinite growth, eventually you'll reach your skill cieling and that's where your teammets will get so bad that you won't be able to carry their shitty ass anymore. That's where Chris is.
